Our New ARE: Desiree Rollyson
Meet our new ARE; Desiree Rollyson!
She is 32 and is originally from Texas (born and raised) but spent most of high school and her early 20’s travelling the USA and a few other countries. Her husband is active-duty Air Force and so they with their 2 sons have moved where the Air Force sends them. She has been a Religious Education Coordinator in military Catholic parishes in Illinois and Ramstein, Germany. She has a bachelor’s in psychology and is currently in her master’s for Social Work. She has spent the last decade building her knowledge through certifications in the Church teachings, adult and youth mental health, crisis trauma intervention, and meta-leadership. She is passionate about working with youth and families to help support the growth of spiritual and mental health. This will be her third parish working as the Coordinator of Religious Education, and she is excited and blessed to be able to continue serving the Catholic Church.
